We have a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor in our North East Construction business.

Location: Hebburn , Blyth

Hours: 40 Hours per week

What will you be responsible for?

As Quantity Surveyor you will initially be working on the latter stages of a leisure / culture project in Blyth seeing the project through to final account before being aligned with a new project in the region.

Your day to day will include:

Managing applications for payment from sub contractors
Preparation of applications for payment to clients.
Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure in the form of CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation Reports)
Preparation of final accounts
Checking and collating commercial information from team.

What are we looking for?

This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you have:

Hold degree level (or equivalent) qualification in quantity surveying
Experience working within the main contractor environment
Strong Knowledge of NEC / JCT Contracts
Strong knowledge of project commercial management
Confidence in dealing with client reps, sub contractors and internal stakeholders
