Reporting into our Head of Application Support, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the support and maintenance of applications
Based in Hoddesdon, this role reports into the Head of Applications with line management responsibilities. This role requires an individual who is flexible, adaptable, and focused on providing excellence in business-critical support of applications that run VW businesses.
About our role
Improvements - Improving system resilience and supporting technology associated with daily operations.
Processes - Understanding the support processes to ensure services enables the business.
- Leading Sprint Releases & Upgrades, ensuring robust testing and business sign-off.
- Working with Product Owners to deliver strategies.
- Vendor Management to ensure all the supporting services are being delivered as required
- Accountable for meeting / exceeding Service Levels for Application Support in line with pre-agreed metrics.
- Regularly review and optimise support processes to enhance efficiency and the customer experience.
- Stakeholder engagement and management - Fostering and maintaining working relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business.
- People management – managing and coaching the team. You’ll also monitor and manage team performance metrics. Offer technical guidance, mentorship to support to the team.
About you
You’ll have demonstrable experience as lead of Application portfolio development/support, coupled with experience of Microsoft based Technologies is highly desirable.
Dynamics 365 Business Central application knowledge and Integration of third-party systems is highly desirable. Previous experience supporting HR and Works Management Systems is highly desirable.
