Job Description:
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing various financial functions, contributing to the company’s growth and profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- High level of English required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in senior financial roles (corporate or banking).
- A master’s degree or other postgraduate studies in financial and/or quantitative subjects or FRM or CFA qualifications will be valued.
- Knowledge of financial products (types of debt, derivatives, and other financial products) is desirable.
- Proficiency in Excel and the rest of the Office package is necessary.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, SAP, Reuters, and credit risk metrics will be positively valued.
- Knowledge of credit risks metrics and company ratings is desirable.
- Analytical and interpersonal relationship skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare periodic reports to monitor the macroeconomic environment and relevant financial metrics for Ferrovial's financial risk.
- Support the measurement of financial risks through data analysis and the development of tailored metrics.
- Develop proposals for potential hedges and assess their impacts (accounting, tax, legal) on Ferrovial
- Execution of new hedges with a wide range financial counterparts that Ferrovial collaborates with
- Collaborate in the development and monitoring of financial risk management policies and procedures for all business units within the group
- Provide support to business units by offering quotes or relevant market data for their operations.
- Support in the loading and validation of contracted financial operations in Ferrovial's information systems.
- Monitor regulatory and administrative obligations arising from the contracting of financial products (SOX and EMIR regulations, framework contracts, confirmations, settlements, etc.)
- Preparation of valuation processes and periodic effectiveness tests of the group's derivatives portfolio, assisting accounting departments and responding to external auditors' requirements related to these processes.
- Analysis and reports on risk-adjusted profitability of financial entities (RORAC).
- Support in the credit evaluation of financial entities that maintain asset or liability positions with Ferrovial.
